It’s already time for a DTR, and that’s okay.
This site has been created for the acknowledgement, celebration and sharing of the ordinary good. Yes, stuff that is ordinary that we all can experience and have the choice to do something with and about.
Here you will find some posts about theological and philosophical concepts, stories of ordinary good within a community, writing, insights and thoughts on the simple and profound.
I am convinced life is meant to be shared, and I hope what happens here will consistently reveal that. This is not a personal mind dump or any attempt at an “influencer blog”. The goal is to have conversation and share story that is attainable, discernible and encouraging for people from any walk of life.
In fact, the word “ordinary” functions as a way to define the human experience in it’s basic, sometimes glamorous but mostly not, lived form. We are here to celebrate and invite others to share in the goodness of being human, which means every one of you humans out there is qualified to be a part.
Promoting humility over fear.
Generosity over selfishness.
The need for excessive grace and opportunities to show it.
