One Way Conversation

Where there is not challenge, can there be growth? If it is not tested, can it be known?

Easier to talk into a screen than to a person in front of you.

Conversation is risky. You can look like a fool.

Conversation is risky. You can reach a conclusion after dialogue with the whole selves

(mind, soul, and body) and lives present.

What may seem easy behind a screen is rather detrimental to the self.

What if you were on this earth alone?

What if there were five people?

Twenty across the globe?

Do you think comparison would play its role?

Together.

What does it look like to be together?

What does it sound like to be together?

What does it feel like to be together?

Maybe what we really want is to feel at home.

Home is risky. You can look like a fool.

Home is risky. You can reach a conclusion after dialogue with the whole selves and lives present.

Home is risky. You can be made uncomfortable and forced to confront.

Home is lovely. You get to look like a fool.

Home is lovely. You get to reach a conclusion after dialogue with the whole selves and lives present.

Home is lovely. You get to be made uncomfortable and forced to confront.

Home moves us toward love.

It grows us to patience. To kindness. To being content and considerate. To humility. To becoming not easily angered. To forgiveness. To celebrating the truth. To bearing through and believing with hope to endure.

Is a one way conversation a conversation at all?

You can be seen and you can be known.

You can be challenged and you can be grown.

You are free to be,

when and wherever you are at home.

What is home to you? Where and with whom do you feel at home? Are you a sense of home for others?
